GRB Academy Announces Partnership with Endisch Performance to Expand Player Development Resources
New partnership brings individualized, science-based performance training and biomechanics expertise to GRB players
WINDSOR, Wis. — GRB Academy is excited to announce a new partnership with Endisch Performance Pitching (EP), bringing an additional level of individualized, science-based performance training to baseball players throughout the GRB program.
The partnership combines GRB Academy’s established baseball development system with Endisch Performance Pitching’s expertise in biomechanics, pitching development, strength and conditioning, mobility, and individualized athlete programming. Together, the organizations will provide GRB athletes with additional resources designed to help players better understand how their bodies move, train more efficiently, improve performance and continue developing for the next level. Player development has been at the center of GRB Academy since its inception. GRB provides athletes with private instruction, group training, travel baseball, strength training and player-development resources inside its 52,000-square-foot facility in Windsor. The organization’s philosophy has always extended beyond simply playing games, with an emphasis on giving serious baseball players the coaching, training and resources necessary to maximize their potential.
The partnership with Endisch Performance Pitching represents another step forward in that mission.
“GRB has always looked for ways to give our players the best possible resources to develop,” said Greg Reinhard, owner of GRB Academy. “The game continues to evolve, and player development continues to become more individualized and data-driven. Partnering with Endisch Performance gives our athletes access to another valuable resource that can help them understand their movement, improve their physical development and ultimately become better baseball players.”
Endisch Performance Pitching was founded by former GRB Rays RHP Carter Endisch, a former collegiate pitcher who played six seasons of college baseball at Quincy University and Lewis University. Endisch earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Lewis University and is currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy student.
“I couldn’t be more excited to partner with GRB and help build on the incredible development they’ve proven to deliver over the past several years. I’ve had a great relationship with Greg and the entire GRB family since my time here as a player, and I’ve experienced firsthand the culture that makes this organization elite.” Said Endisch. “GRB’s athletes are among the best, not only in the region but across the country, so being a part of their path to success is a great privilege. Getting the opportunity to help the next generation of Rays is a full-circle moment for me, and I can’t wait to help them reach their potential.”
Rather than utilizing a one-size-fits-all training model, EP evaluates the individual athlete and builds programming around that player’s specific needs. The process can include biomechanics screening, pitching mechanical analysis, individualized throwing plans, corrective and mobility work, strength and conditioning, speed development and recovery programming.
For GRB players, that individualized approach can complement the baseball instruction and team training already taking place within the Academy.
Pitchers, in particular, can benefit from a more detailed understanding of how strength, mobility, movement patterns and mechanics work together on the mound. EP’s biomechanics-based approach is designed to identify an athlete’s strengths and limitations before developing programming specifically for that player.
Endisch Performance has worked with athletes ranging from developing youth and high school players to collegiate, professional and MLB Draft-level players. EP athletes have credited the program’s attention to detail, individualized programming and consistent communication as important parts of their development.
That philosophy aligns closely with GRB’s long-standing emphasis on development at every level.
GRB Academy and the GRB Rays program have built a reputation for helping athletes progress from youth baseball through high school, college and professional opportunities. The Rays program has helped hundreds of players continue their careers at the collegiate level while producing numerous professional players and MLB Draft selections.
The EP partnership will further expand the development resources available to current and future GRB athletes.
The goal is not simply to help players throw harder, run faster or become stronger. The broader objective is to help athletes understand why they train a certain way and create a development process that can evolve with them throughout their baseball careers.
By combining baseball instruction, skill development, strength training, biomechanics and individualized performance programming, GRB and EP aim to create a more complete development environment for the serious baseball player.
Additional information regarding EP training opportunities, athlete evaluations and how GRB players can participate in the program will be communicated directly to GRB families.
