Rays Report – May 20


9u Green continues playing good fundamental baseball winning the Coach Matsie Memorial event in Rockford.  In the championship game the 9u group avenges the loss in the championship beating Raiders baseball academy 7-5 in the championship.

10U Yellow breaks through and wins the Coach Matsie Memorial tournament in Rockford, after losing their first game of the tournament the boys turn it on and score 39 runs in the last 3 games earning them a championship.

11U Yellow goes 1-1 on the weekend and get rained out on Sunday.  This group continues to get better every week.

12U Yellow is developing into a team that is firing at all cylinders, only giving up 1 run all weekend winning the Coach Matsie Memorial tournament in Rockford, IL. 

12U Green participated in the Border Battle this past weekend in a very competitive event.  Taking 2nd place, overall record on the year is 14-2, they will be back at it in Watertown this coming weekend.
12U White having a good showing this weekend going 3-0 in the Border Battle in Rockford, Ill..
13U Green wins the Border Battle event in Rockford, IL.  
13U White notched a victory in a well played game Friday night against the Brookfield Spartans before getting washed out the rest of the weekend.
14U Green takes 2nd place in the border battle, losing to GRB Eau Claire 13-11 in a back and fourth game.  


U12-Green: Went 2-0 over the weekend winning 16-1 and 14-0. U12-Green has won 5 straight games.
U12-Yellow: Went 1-1 on in the Bigler Springtime Slugfest. U12-Yellow has won 5 of their last 8 games. 
U13-Green: Went 2-0 on Saturday earning the 1 Seed in the Bigler Springtime Slugfest. The tournament was cut short due to weather. 
U14-Green: Went 1-0 in the Bigler Springtime Slugfest before the tournament was cut short due to weather. U14-Green is now 8-1 on the season.


14u Eau Claire finished 4-1 en-route to a championship at the Border Battle in Rockford, Ill.
