Frazer a fit for the Bradley Braves
Oconto, WI native Bennett Frazer has announced his commitment to play collegiate baseball at Division I Bradley University located in Peoria, IL.
The slick fielding middle infielder impressed schools with his advanced defensive play as well as his top of the order bat. On the infield, Frazer shows premium actions with the glove to go along with range that will keep him playing in the middle of the field at the next level. Arm strength also plays well at 85 mph across the diamond. In the batter’s box Frazer has a balanced set up and good hands which produces hard, barreled contact. Currently at a wiry 150 lbs. Frazer projects to only increase his abilities in both the field as well as at the plate with added strength.
With his commitment to Bradley, Frazer becomes the fifth Rays player to either commit or play for the Braves. Carson Weber and Zach Fairchild are both in their senior year for the Braves while 2018 grads Connor Manthey and Paul Stefiuk have verbal commitments. The Braves are led by Elvis Dominguez who is in his 15th year as the head coach.
Frazer is the second Rays player in the 2019 class to announce his commitment, following Nate Stevens who committed to Arkansas during the 2016 season.
